This year I am launching a new series entitled “Winter Trees” here on my website. As the title suggests, these are a series of raw musical sketches, unadorned and naked in form, sometimes with a layer or two, paired with a single arboreal photograph. Some of these may perhaps grow Into fully formed compositions one day while others remain suspended in sketch states. Consider these a journal from my studio, my daily workings.
